Silbury Hill in the Wiltshire countryside, is a 2400BC neolithic chalk mound, older than the Egyptian pyramids and laying on the A4 road between London and Bath. Its purpose is not really understood. It is the largest prehistoric man made structure in Europe at metres (129 ft) high.
