Samukawa Shrine Garden - Kantakeyama is the formal offical name of the Japanese garden at Samukawa Shrine near Chigasaki, Kanagawa-ken. The pond garden's centerpiece is a multi tiered waterfall cascade. The shrine itself is ancient and has the interesting characteristic of saying prayers to protect one from evil, one of the few Shinto shrines in Japan to actually have rituals to perform this, the unique ceremony is called Happoyoke.
