A project undertaken by Unexco and local experts in 2003 One of several minarets in this complex this one stands by Gaur Shad s Mausoleum with a mortar hole in it another one also near the mausoleum is partly destroyed and four stand marking the corners of the long gone Madrassa built by Sultan Husain Baiquara last of the Timurid rulers Six other minarets were demolished by British troops in 1885 and 3 were destroyed by earthquakes
