Gaza, Palestine. 30 March 2023. Clashes occur in the Malika areas on the east of Gaza City as Israeli troops fired tear gas canisters at Palestinians attending a festival marking the 47th anniversary of Land Day. A number of Palestinians were injured by the tear gas fired by the Israeli army during the festival. The festival had been organised by the Palestinian coalition of National and Islamic forces to commemorate the six Palestinians who died and the hundreds injured and imprisoned while opposing Israel's plan to confiscate vast areas of Palestinian land in 1976
