ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 19, 2017) Rear Adm. Jeffrey Hughes, commander of Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 2, and Cmdr. Nakia Cooper, commanding officer of the dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), walk on the flight deck for an all hands call. The Department of Defense is supporting Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Irma to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
