The following is the report of the Branch Secretary for Oregon, for year endingJune 28, 1889: — It must be borne in mind that the work among the churches and auxilia-ries was divided at the beginning of the year, and a secretary appointed foreach, Oregon and Washington Territory ; hence this report shows but part ofthe years work. Letters written, sixty-eight; letters received, thirty-six. Seventeen churchesof the Willamette Valley Association have been communicated with, andthree of the Mid-Columbia. Only six of the former and two of the latterhave responded. In the Willamette Valley Association we have four auxiliaries and twomission circles. First on the list we welcome a new society at Albany. We rejoice withthese sisters (at present fourteen in number) that they are to share in thisblessed work, and hope for a thriving society.
