Always get juicy, tender beef when possible, andnever salt but very little. For young children, do not use any salt. BEEF one pound of round steak or loin, free from fat, chop fineand put in an earthen jar, seal the lid down with paste and roast inthe oven for four hours, strain through a sieve and give two or threeteaspoonfuls every one to three hours. If the patient is very low>add as much boiling water
