We spent themorning at St. Peters going around it carefully from end toend and into the Sacristy, where we saw wonderful embroid-eries and all the silver gilt candlesticks, &c., wrought byBenvenuto Cellini and used only on high holidays, also thefragments of Malazzo di Fiorlis frescoes from the ancientbasilica underneath.
