(S . White ; head and thorax irrorated with brown scales ; abdo- men with the dorsal crest at base brown. Fore wing with the basal half suffused with golden brown ; a blackish spot at base ; an indistinct irregular subbasal line from costa to vein 1 ; the ante- medial line blackish, curved and minutely waved; the tufts of. scales at middle and upper angle of cell blackish ; a medial blackish line from lower angle of cell to inner margin ; a post- medial series of black points angled outwards below costa and excurved between veins 5 and 2 ; a subterminal line angled inwards at vein 5 ; then excurved to vein 2 ; some brown marks on termen. Hind wing tinged with brown towards tornus. Hah. Queensland, Brisbane (Turner), type id in Coll. Turner. Exp. 22 millim. 1 r.
