London, UK. 26th March, 2024. Pollution in the River Thames. Construction work is continuing on the nearby Tideway, so called Super Sewer on the River Thames at Vauxhall, London. Tens of millions of tonnes of untreated sewage gets discharged into the River Thames every year. The Thames Tideway Tunnel will help to process around 55million tonnes of 'overflow' raw sewage and is due to be completed in 2025.
