View of the bell tower and imposing buttresses along the exterior of the Church of the Jacobins from Rue Joseph-Lakanal, Toulouse

The Church of the Jacobins is a deconsecrated Roman Catholic church located in Toulouse, France. Built entirely of brick, its construction started in 1230 and influenced the development of the Southern French Gothic (Gothique meridional) architectural style. The Convent is sometimes considered the mother church of the Dominican order as it was founded in the city of Toulouse. The relics of St. Thomas Aquinas are also housed there.
