Fanny Cooper as Helena, Athenian lady, in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, mid 19thC. Miss Cooper (1814-1872) was an English actress who performed at Sadler's Wells. Handcoloured lithograph from Thomas Hailes Lacy's Female Costumes Historical, National and Dramatic in 200 Plates, London, 1865. Lacy (1809-1873) was a British actor, playwright, theatrical manager and publisher.
