William Davies, F. J. I., has been editor of the WetfternMail, the oldest daily paper inWales, since 1901. He joinedthe staff of the paper thirty-two years ago and eventuallysucceeded the late Mr. Las-oalles Carr as editor in chiefnineteen years ago. He wasvice-president of the WorldsPress Parliament at St. Louisin 1904; he is a .lustice of thePeace for the city of Cardiffand a Governor of the Univers-ity College of South Wales andMonmonthshire.
