The Bronze Woman statue at Stockwell War Memorial. Designed by sculptor Ian Walters who also designed the Nelson Mandela statue at the Festival Hall. The statue was the first in England to depict a Caribbean woman. Unveiled in 2008. It was inspired by the poem Bronze Woman by Stockwell poet Cécile Nobrega.
