The build- ings must receive prompt attention and tliorough treatment. The droppings \ should be carefully removed and mixed with fine, dry road dust, ashes or lime. Fine dust is destructive to the lice and hence should be plentifully used about the buildings, and given to the fowls in boxes so large that they can thoroughly dust themselves in it. Pj-rethrum and sulphur may be mixed with the dust in such boxes and render it more deadly to the insects.
