Calverton,Nottinghamshire, November cross memorial ,On the 13th of October 1940 a Polish air crew (of number 300 mosovion squadron),who were fighting for the allies were returning to thier base,at RAF a successful bombing raid,thier stricken 'fairy battle'aeroplane came down in Calverton woods killing all three aircrew .
