LACED OR BUCKLED BANDAGES, Are so named from the manner in which theyare confined to the part: as they are usually ob-tained from the glovers and others, I shall onlyrefer to them in passing. Where itcannot be obtained ready made,slit a common strong cottonstocking down the side, andhem in on each edge a verythin slip of whalebone, and havea few eyelet-holes worked alon gthe edges behindthe bones, as in the corsets of the female. Likethese, it is to be fastened by lacing it up with abraid.
