We planted this rose out doors, along with Hybrid Perpetuals and other hardy roses, and the plants came through the winter, even better than many of the hardy var- ieties, remaining fresh and green to the very tips. But it is not only for out-door use that it is valuable; it can also be employed most satisfactorily for decorating in-doors when grown in pots.
