Quire or choir and chancel looking east: between 1818 and 1830, the fabric of the church being in disrepair the tower and choir were restored by George Gwilt. whose design for the east end included an elevation with three lancet windows. Stone screen above altar of kings, bishops, martyrs and saints installed 1520s
