These machineshave guaranteed efficiencies of 82 per cent at full load,85 at three-quarters load, 80 at half load and 70 atquarter load. The specifications on governing permitnot more than 15 per cent increase in speed above thenormal value of 375 on the sudden removal of fullload, 6 per cent for half load, 3 per cent for quarterload, and per cent for tenth load.
