Copenhagen, Denmark – May 17th, 2014: “More than 40% of the Copenhagener takes daily their bike to work “, says Environmental Mayor of Copenhagen, Morten Kabell, in his speech to the Christiania bike enthusiasts, which gathered at the town hall square for celebrating the iconic Christiania bikes 30 years anniversary. Mr. Kabell added that a survey indicates that alone last year the number of daily job bikers grew with 5%. One reason to this: Broader and safer cycle paths, bikers dedicated traffic lights etc. “This trend is very important for the traffic conditions in Copenhagen”, he said.
