The former sell at $15 to $20 per hun- dred, while the latter bring from $1 to $2 per dozen. Many sweet peas are in the market at 73 cents to $ per hun- dred. Only a few calendul;is are seen. Dar- win tulips are conspicuous and attrac- tive in display windows. Calceolarias are includecl among the potted plants offered. Blooming bed- ding stock is also being offered, but, as yet, does not meet witli heavy sale. Blooming pansy plants sell readily. Ferns are beginning to meet with more active demand. Various Notes. Herbert Tons, with Temperley's, recently married to Mrs. Olive Ramsay. of Fort Wayne, Ind. Baur & Steinkamp are beginning to cut gladioli. This firm has begun to plant carnations out in the field. O. E. Steinkamp and E. E. Temperley are taking part in the Murat extrava- ganza this week. The majority of florists are adhering closely to Sunday closing, as was agreed upon by the florists. There are, how- ever, a few who are taking advantage of the closing of other shojis to enhance their own business on this day. The tradesmen feel that this is a case of honor among themselves, and that the agreement should be lived up to by all. Allan Humason is iji the city, calling on the trade. E. E.
