Flesh yellowish, subacid, juicy, tender, deli- cate, with the flavor of the pear. Seeds full, roundish ; in close chambers, ovate. Autumn. This apple is well spoken of by the gen- tlemen composing the Convention of Fruit Growers in Ohio in 1848.
