. Endocrinology. Case No. 5: A married woman, 40 years of age, came in becauseof headaches. Her brother had diabetes. She had 4 living and well. 704 GLYCOSURIA AND KIDNEY PERMEABILITY children and had had a number of miscarriages. She had had pneu-monia, grippe, tonsillitis and rheumatism. Physical examination wasnegative; the Wassermann test was negative; the blood pressure was130/70. Routine examination of the urine showed sugar. A glucosetoleiance test gave the findings shown in the table and in Chart V.
