To the Most Excellent the Grand Z., Principals andOfficers of the Grand Chapter of Canada: In presenting my report as Grand Superintendent onthe condition of Capitular Masonry in the Algoma Dis-trict, No. 14 for the year 1902, permit me to point outthat, although there are only four Chapters, viz., Shuniah,No. 82, at Port Arthur; Golden, No. 90, atRat Portage; Tuscan, No. 95, at Sudbury, andAlgonquin, No. 102, at Sault Ste. Marie, in thedistrict, still the distances between them are sogreat that it is a difficult matter for any Grand Super-intendent to visit them more than once during his termof office. Rat Portage on the west being upwards of onethousand miles
