Ou the other hand,Georgia is the only State lying almost wholly in the Cotton Belt that is included in thislist of 20 leading live-stock States. The concentration of live stock in the Corn Beltanil in the dairying centers of the Hay and Pastui-e Region is shown in Figure 107Cattle and horses and mules, it will be noted, constitute in the different States fromsix-tenths to nine-tenths of the value of all live stock.
