The Spanish political party Vox held a campaign event in the Madrid neighborhood of Vallecas, known for its leftist and working-class ideas. VOX is known for its far-right ideas and during the ceremony the president of the Santiago Abascal party, the deputy Javier Ortega Smith, the deputy Macarena Olona and the candidate for the Community of Madrid, Rocio Monasterio, were present. The police intervened with protesters causing disturbances around the campaign event.
