The Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer, appropriately nicknamed the “BAT,” is a highly immersive, home-station flight training device for the UH-60M aircraft, a modernized version of the former UH-60. The BAT is currently located at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa, where it can serve 130 regional pilots per year and provide more than 2,000 hours of simulator flight time.
