Today, October 26, 2022 over 12,000 Blue Roofs have been installed with FEMA's fiber-reinforced sheeting. Linda Piper stands outside of her Port Charlotte Home. She sat in the bathroom, for what Piper said: "felt like three days." Piper sustained damage to her roof and structural damage to her home. As a result, she was eligible to participate in FEMA/USACE's Operation Blue Roof program.
