Regensburg, Germany. 1st June 2014. Children from Leipzig carry 100 balloons into the closing mass of the 99th Deutscher Katholikentag, representing the 100th Deutscher Katholikentag to be held in Leipzig in 2016. Thousands of people came to the closing open air mass of the 99th Deutscher Katholikentag (German Catholic Church Congress). The chief celebrant was Reinhard Marx, the Cardinal archbishop of Munich and Freising. The open air mass ended the 5 day congress.
