GYPSUM, — New York Army National Guard two CH-47 F models left the Army Aviation Support Facility in Rochester for Gypsum, Colorado on April 18, 2016, all of the aviators and crewmembers from Detachment 1, Company B, 3rd Battalion 126th Aviation Regiment received certificates from the airport proving they landed at the highest airport in the US. The mountains of Colorado simulate the mountains of Afghanistan in both weather and terrain aspects.
