PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (Sept. 8, 2018) A civilian contractor shows Operations Specialist 2nd Class Jacob Shaw, from Dunwoody, Ga., assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), how to use a nail gun during a community service project for Kitsap Housing. Nimitz is conducting a docking planned incremental availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
