Loveland Pass in central Colorado is the highest year round mountain pass in North America at 11990 feet (3660 meters) . This photo is taken on the western side of the pass approaching A-Basin ski area beyond that is Keystone. It is intended to show the steepness of the road and the kind of mountains it goes through without showing any sky.
