Waved Albatross birds at breeding grounds in May, Espanola, Galapagos Islands, Pacific.

A group of visitors were walking on paths on rough ground surrounded by dozens of adult breeding Waved Albatross birds, some performing courtship rituals, dancing and stepping around each other. We had been brought to Espanola Island by a converted fishing trawler. The large birds were unafraid of us and we were able to view them at close quarters.
