The third year of the school opened September 11, 1882, andclosed June 14, 1883, with the graduation of its first young men received diplomas and medals. Theenrollment for the year was 176. The enrollmentfor the year was 234. The number of students graduating wasforty-jive. It is interesting to note that these forty-five, and one whoremained to the end but failed to win a diploma, representjust 100 boys who during the three years had belonged to theclass.
