END COXSTRUCTIOX The end sill of the body of the car is a 20 in. by /S in. steelplate riveted to the center sill and connected to the 3/16 end plates by angles. The center or door posts are 4in., 7/i lb. channels, while between each door post and thecorner post there is placed a 4 in., lb. Z-bar. A Z-bar of thesame size is employed at the corner, and to this is riveted a 4 3 in. by fs in. angle, the 4 in. leg of which is connected to the3/16 in. side sheathing of the car.
