Veteran peace campaigner Pat Arrowsmith and CND Chair Kate Hudson support protest at building an American radar base near Prague
The UK Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) called a vigil and fast at short notice opposite Downing Street in Whitehall to support Czech hunger strikers who - like 70% of the Czech people - oppose the building of an American radar base near Prague - part of the US Missile Defence system. The Czech government was about to give its support of their parliament to the base, and has now done so.
