Early morning aircraft contrails in a winter sky over Brighton, East Sussex, UK. Aircraft contrails (condensation trails) are artificial clouds formed from frozen water droplets from the exhaust of the engines of an aircraft flying at high altitude in air nearly saturated with moisture. These contrails are from aircraft flying to and from Gatwick Airport. Photographed on 14 February 2019.
