NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 2, 2017) Sonar Technician (Surface) 3rd Class Cody Stone, from Newnan, Georgia, ascends an access truck aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) during sonar dome operations June 2, 2017. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe and Africa.
