David Jebb exchanged part of the property with some land in Egham with the Rev. Thomas Bisse, c. 1795. Mr. Bisse demolished the remains of ancient mansion and put up a new one which devolved on his death to his son in 1828. The son added more. The house and four-hundred acre park were sold by Col.
