Turner that his roses are cleaning up daily and on some occasions he has to cut down his orders. Large orders for plants are already coming in for future delivery, and 1 noticed that more benches are being devoted to propagating. One of the points that are agitating Mr. Turner is the proper way to spell the nanu; of the rose Elgar is tlie way many people spell it, but Mr. Turner stands for Elger. Whichever is right, it surelv is a beauti- ful rose as grown here and much in de- mand among the better class of re- tailers. M. L. Germain, president of tlie Ger- main Seed & Plant Co., wrenched his back recently and had to retire for a ilay or two.
