One of the points that are agitating Mr. Turner is the proper way to spell the nanu; of the rose Elgar is tlie way many people spell it, but Mr. Turner stands for Elger. Whichever is right, it surelv is a beauti- ful rose as grown here and much in de- mand among the better class of re- tailers. M. L. Germain, president of tlie Ger- main Seed & Plant Co., wrenched his back recently and had to retire for a ilay or two.
