Stiff stem, four to five feet high, with clean foliage. A Silver Cup costing $100 has been offered by the late James Simpson for the best vase of twenty-five blooms. A cup costing $50 will be offered for the best vase ot twelve blooms, and a cup costing $25 will be offered for the best vase of six blooms. Competition for the above cups to occur at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's Show, November, 1896, and will be open to all. Will be sent out March 1st, 1896. Price 60c. each, $ per doz.
