The Director of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, and the Uniformed Division Chief, Alfonso M. Dyson, Sr., lay a wreath in honor of Officer Leslie W. Coffelt at the Blair House in Washington, , Nov. 1, 2022. Coffelt was killed Nov. 1, 1950, in front of the Blair House by two Puerto Rican Nationalists who were attempting to assassinate President Truman.
