Silurian morris men from Ledbury in Herefordshire dancing at the Bell Inn in Great Bardfield Essex UK on 31st May 2014. This style of morris dancing with a black face is traditional in the Welsh borders. The farm hands did it to prevent the farmer finding who they were. The dancers are participating in a festival called the morris ring which has been held annually in Thaxted since 1934
