'Queen Victoria', c1894, (1901). Portrait of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837 until her death in 1901. On 1 May 1876, she adopted the additional title of Empress of India. The official imperial title for the British monarch in India was Kaisar-i-Hind in Hindi and Urdu.
