Of the ])erfect mesenteries lO formed pairs, three mesenteries were single. .At the linilius I i-ounted 120 I.'JO mesen- teries, at the margin the mesenteries mav have been 72 as the specimen had 72 tentacles. In the middle part of the body the mesenteries seemed to be fewer. Thus, the grow from the margin as well as from the limbus but certainly more rajjidly from the latter.
