Red and yellow allotment cottages and gardens, Skansen open-air museum, Djurgarden, Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia


The cottages came from the South Tanto allotment area in Stockholm. The red cottage dates from the 1920's, they grew utility plants such as cabbages, turnips and beets. Inside there is a small kitchen, wood stove and basement to keep the food cold. The yellow cottage is from the 1940's
