Close-up of a temporary waterfall feature over the River Lea, in the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park, during the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
Stratford: waterfall at the top end of the Olympic Park This water feature descends from the farthest footbridge from the main entrance to the Olympic Park. It feeds into the River Lea, which forms the linear centrepiece of the park, lined with pleasant gardens and meadows. To either side of the river are the various sporting venues, such as the Velodrome whose roof we see in the background.
