The Air Force’s 968th Expeditionary Airborne Air Control Squadron held its inactivation ceremony on Sept. 29, 2022, at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The 968th EAACS flew its last sortie, until reactivation, in AFCENT’s area of responsibility on Sept. 23, 2022. The Panthers accomplished their mission but will be back again when needed.
