Army Staff Sgt. Tristan Norman assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), sends buckets of dirt, using a pulley system he built, down to a wet-screen station during a recovery mission in Sekong Province, Laos, Feb. 19 2022. There are currently 289 missing service members from the Vietnam War believed to be located in Laos. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for personnel to their families and our nation.
